Pro-Stroke Engines is a family owned and run business which started trading on the first day of July 1987.

Clint & Linda Curran started the business from the ground up on the same day their first son was born, and are still the current owners of Pro-Stroke Engines. Clint has always been interested in performance, speed and racing. He started racing Speedway Sidecars at the then early age of 16 being the youngest to receive a Speedway Licence at the time.
He later went onto Road Racing where he has accumulated numerous Track Records, some which are still standing many years later. During his racing career he has been awarded many State and Australian Titles from tracks all over Australia.
Clint started working on V8 Race engines, designing and development of Stroker Engines during the late 70's and continues to develop stroker combinations for the late model engines of today.
Linda was trained in office skills and communication systems and has managed the office of Pro-Stroke Engines since the commencement of business in 1987.
Ricky Curran is the eldest son of Clint & Linda and is now a qualified Engine Reconditioner and works full time at Pro-Stroke Engines.  Rick has spent time following the Sprint Boat circuit during their season and helping various contestants with their engines.  He also spent a season working on the Darren Morgan Top Fuel Race Team which was a great experience for him.  Rick has an inherited passion for performance vehicles and thrives on pushing the envelope; he is often seen at the Heathcote Raceway during their Test n Tune events.

Over the years Pro-Stroke Engines has earned a reputation for excellence in the field of Engine Building. Our clients include both retails and trade customers with requirements for daily street driven vehicles, tow vehicles, show cars, performance cars to race vehicles, including boats and even tractors.
At Pro-Stroke Engines we are very proud of our name and also of the recognition we have earned. There are several things that are important to us and we have implemented these into our daily business dealings. A couple of these things are Honesty, Integrity and Reliability.
When we deal with our clients we try to ascertain exactly what they want from the end product. The more we know with regard to the client and their driving habits the more compatible the engine will ultimately be.
Our aim at the conclusion of each project is that the client feels they have received friendly and courteous service and a product which has surpassed their expectations, along with the knowledge that should they require any advice or assistance in the future we are only a phone call away and always happy to assist.
We frequently travel to race meetings involving Sprint Boats, Drag Cars and Tractor Pulls. We also often get to experience driving these machines, which besides being fun helps us as engine builders to know exactly what is needed from the engines.
Vehicles with engines built by Pro-Stroke Engines have achieved numerous awards including Holden National Drag Championships, Australian Tractor Pull Championships, Australian Jet Boat Championships, Salt Lake Record Holder and placing in the World Jet Boat Championships.
